Home Offices

I’ve tried it all – the couch, the floor, the bed, the dining room table.  No, silly!  I’m talking about working from home.  Wanting to feel comfortable and “at home” instead of “at the office” to get stuff done.  But if there was any paperwork involved, I found it to be a lot less comfortable and more aggravating than just working from a desk.  Problem was, I didn’t have a place for one, and taking care of paperwork just kept getting put off.  It would then become so overwhelming that I would spend an entire weekend trying to catch up.  Over the past 7 years of running the gallery, there have only been a handful of times that my bookwork has been current.

Earlier this year, I was able to create a home office and I can’t express to you the difference it has made in my weekly life.  I have finally found a system that works for me and the key was having a dedicated place to work and store things.

This month, we’re focusing on home office spaces.  Whether you just need a space to browse the web and pay a few bills, or you’re working from home and need a dedicated area away from the kids and the chores calling your name, we are going to talk about different ways to create a functional and useful space to accomplish your office”y” tasks.
