Home needs to feel good

During Covid 2020, I think many of us realized the time we spend at home needs to feel good.  Whether you were homebound or an essential worker who collapsed into the couch after working too many hours, we realized our homes should allow us to rest, play and function well.

Some people love being surrounded by things.  This style is cozy and comforting, but it can have its limits.  If you cannot enjoy a movie from the couch, prepare a meal, or find an outfit for the next day, maybe you need to pare down some items.  Having every surface covered with too many things limits your ability to think freely and sometimes causes extra stress.  Alternatively, the minimalistic style looks very clean and organized but can feel cold and uninviting.  If you find yourself never spending time in a room, ask yourself why?  Are you overwhelmed by the things in the space?  Or, does nothing in the room give you comfort?  Either way, there are things you can do to enjoy the space you have.  Need some help?  Give me a call.
