Home Staging

What is home staging?  You’ve probably seen it on TV and your potential home buyers have too.

If you are thinking of selling your home, staging helps you transition your home to a house.  What’s the difference?  Your home is YOURS.  Your style, your things, your family.  You want your home to become someone else’s home and in order to do that, I can help you see what buyers want to see in your house.

Staging goes beyond decluttering and depersonalizing your home.  It helps buyers see the potential in your house, typically sells your house faster, and for more money than un-staged homes.  Working together, we will introduce your house to its new family.

Is your home already on the market?

It’s not too late to add home staging services. Even if potential buyers have already been through your home, we can still make changes that will help your home sell faster.

First impressions.

Did you know that buyers will usually decide within 90 seconds of opening the front door if they are interested in your house? So, that first impression is crucial and, it sets the tone for the rest of the viewing.

All houses have them. Flaws, that is. The key is to showcase your house’s wonderful qualities while downplaying it’s less than desirable ones. It’s my job to tell your house’s story and show buyers how they will live in your house. When they see themselves making coffee in the kitchen, we are on our way.

Is your home vacant?

90% of buyers cannot see the potential in a house or picture what a room will look like with their things. Imagine if the house is empty. Sometimes, it’s hard to even know the purpose of a room. Using staging, we help buyers see how to use the space.

If buyers can say, “Our couch is a little smaller than this one. It should fit in here just fine.”, or “This is a cute playroom. I could see our kids playing in here.”, they can identify with the house and start envisioning themselves living there.
